Notable Mentions

1. Sensoji

It is Tokyo soldest temple and one of the most important. Being the largest Buddhist temple, it is a major Tokyo attraction for both locals and foreigners.

2. Imperial Palace and East Garden

It is the main residence of the emperor of Japan which is open to the public. The East Garden is a part of the inner palace and is open to the public. Visitors can enter the inner palace grounds and sometimes get to see the members of the Imperial family who make public appearances on a balcony.

3. Tokyo Skytree

Standing at 634 Metres, Tokyo Skytree is the tallest tower in Japan. It has two observation decks which offer spectacular views of Tokyo Skyline.

4. Tsukiji Fish Market

It is the biggest seafood market in the world. At 4.30 AM, tickets can be bought for a grand tuna auction. The fish market sells different types of sea food ranging from large whales to tiny sardines.

5. Tokyo DisneyLand and Tokyo DisneySea

It is a 115 acre theme park which was opened in1983 as the 1st theme park outside The United States of America.
Tokyo DisneySea is inspired by the myths and legends of the sea and is made up of seven themed ports. It is the 4th most visited theme park.
